The Norfolk County Public Library (NCPL) is hosting free tax clinics in connection with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). These clinics are entirely run by dedicated CRA community volunteers and are available exclusively at NCPL locations.

These tax clinics aim to support individuals with modest incomes and simple tax situations by providing free assistance with their tax returns. Volunteers generously offer their time and expertise to help community members access this valuable service.

Appointments can only be booked by calling 519-426-3506 extension 1355, and it is important to call only during the designated hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates: Monday, Feb. 3; Thursday, Feb. 6; Monday, Feb. 10; Thursday, Feb. 13; Thursday, Feb. 20; Monday, Feb. 24; Thursday, Feb. 27; Monday, March 3; Thursday, March 6.

Julie Kent, NCPL CEO said, “Hosting programs like the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program underscores the Library’s dedication to being a hub for essential services. This initiative showcases the incredible power of community collaboration and highlights how the library goes above and beyond to support the well-being of Norfolk County residents.”

NCPL is honoured to play a vital role in hosting this initiative, demonstrating commitment to supporting the diverse needs of Norfolk County. Programs like this emphasize how public libraries are “more than books”—serving as dynamic spaces for meaningful engagement and essential services.

We thank the volunteers who make this program possible and the community members who trust NCPL to facilitate such impactful opportunities. For more information about this program or other Library events, visit ncpl.ca or contact your local branch.
